Art Deco has its great influence in jewelry,
fashion, clothing, and interior design. Though the fashion and
aesthetics were criticized by a community of people, but Art Deco
continued its journey of progress throughout the globe. Today, there
are a number of countries and cities hosting Art Deco fashion in their
buildings, designs, architectures, interior design, car manufacturing
and so on. The Art Deco fashion was greatly influenced by the World War
II. Many building in Manila, Indonesia were designed on Art Deco
fashion. But, they came to their end in World War II. The rebirth of
Art Deco fashion took place in 1960s and once more in 1980s when brands

Napier of New Zealand is considered as the most thoroughly Art Deco location on Earth. The city was rebuilt after a serious and razing earthquake of 1931. The whole new fashion was art deco fashion designed by art deco designers of every corner of the world. The years from 1960 to 1980 has seen a great change, not only in the city of Napier but also throughout the world including Western countries and cities. Due to highly enriched Art deco fashion, Napier was selected as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
More surviving examples of Art Deco fashion include Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. The park has a number of buildings and structures designed on art deco fashion. In fact, these structures and buildings are designed art deco artists of France and other European countries. Houston also hosts a good range of buildings designed on the pattern of art deco encompassing all the traditional spires, windows and curves. Building of the financial giant J.P. Morgan Chase is also an example of Art deco fashion. Furthermore, Houston city hall, Cullen building and Air Terminal Museum of 1940 are good and historical examples of Art Deco fashion.
The art deco history is not closed even in today’s technologically advanced and modern world. Even in today’s 21st century, you can find a number of buildings being built on Art Deco pattern and design. Art deco designers belong to every corner of the world and they render their services to large and small contractors. Art deco design not only exists in developed countries like USA and UK, but it can also be observed in under developed countries like Indonesia and India. In India, “New India Assurance Building” is a great example of Art Deco fashion.
